No, unlike a full fabric zipped-up mascot our robot costumes have natural gaps in the costume which allow air to enter and cool the performer. Also each helmet has a fan installed to remove hot air from inside the helmet. Many of our clients in warmer environments use "cool vests" to help keep the performer cool.

Most of our clients use the costumes to entertain guests. 6ft tall costumes are best for walking around, dancing and are the most flexible. If you are entertaining children, this are less intimidating and more kid friendly. 7 and 8 ft tall costumes are mainly used to entertain adults at trade shows, sporting events, nightclubs and anywhere you want the costume to make a huge impact. Our Wheely Costume Model #13 is best of both worlds and also tricks guests in thinking that it is a real robot because it rolls around.
Our Family Entertainment Center clients use the robot as a birthday upsell, so the costume make money back over time. It is a exclusive upgrade for birthday parties in which the robot brings in the birthday cake and then entertains the birthday party.
Our rental clients get anywhere from $200 to $300 per hour for a robot entertainer. Trade shows pull in the most funds. $1000 to $1,500 per day.
